Saw this link to Webleedesign, courtesy of @deanjrobinson, and had to mention myself that it is WAY too cool. Scroll down, and follow the site, then click that top link when you get to the bottom. Transparent PNGs and scripting and CSS oh my!
Changes ’round here
So I’m sure if you’re a visitor to my site, you’ve noticed I’ve made a rather large change to the design. I’d been using Dean J. Robinson’s Redoable theme for a little over a year, and it had begun to feel a bit cramped. So I looked around for something a bit different, easier to read, less cramped, and came across this theme, Dilectio. Please leave comments with any issues or criticisms if you have any. Cheers!
This is shameless, but can you blame me?
So Upstart Blogger is holding a contest where linking to the blog might win you an iPhone. So here I am, linking to the Upstart Blogger! Also, there’s a great WordPress theme there, Futurosity Eos. Check it out!
Beware the Marble of DOOM!
Seriously hilariously awesome idea:
Beware the Marble of DOOM!: “Now Mac users can collectively vent their frustrations against the spinning beachball of death — MarbleofDoom.com! → Show more”

Best financial website ever
So, anybody who happens to read this, seriously, check out Mint. That’s all!
Justin Allen and “Slaves of the Shinar”
Forgive some self-promotion, but I just finished the basics to Justin’s website, justin-allen.com; it’s a project I’ve been working on it the past few months in-between classes & gigs, and it’s complete enough to unveil to the public (which is good, as Justin leaves for a book tour tomorrow!) Please check it out, feel free to leave comments here or there, if so inclined. It’s definitely a good read, I just started it myself (available via Amazon or Barnes & Noble.)
Zelda Reorchestrated
Just very cool, it seems that somebody decided to rearrange the music from the Legend of Zelda series using the Garritan Orchestra sounds & release it for free!
Spanning Sync
Just wanted to put a little note in here about this excellent (but very beta) piece of software I’ve discovered for syncing iCal & Google Calendar bidirectionally called Spanning Sync. Finally, iCal & gCal can play nice!
[Full disclosure: This post has been edited so that clicking on that link will provide you with a $5 savings and me with a $5 credit from Spanning Sync]
Comics I read daily
Decided I’d share my daily comic intake with anyone who happens to see this:
Really killer website
Lovely weather today. But more importantly, I’ve been using this kick ass website lately called la la. It’s a CD trading website. So you list all the CDs you have, tick off the ones you’d like to keep forever, and then go list all the CDs you want. Other people do the same, and the system notifies you if you have a CD somebody else wants, and asks you to ship it. They provide shipping envelopes & plastic cases for the CDs, and you pay $1 per every CD you receive from another. REALLY awesome. Check it out, my username on the site is berkleebassist.
