USB cup warmer/cooler? Yes please.

And here we find some awesomeness: a Desktop Cup Warmer & Cooler. Seriously, this is probably the most awesome USB accessory I’ve seen in a long time.

We could all be neighbors

This is a very cool infographic from GOOD’s neighborhood infographic contest.

Truly excellent Honda ad

Just an amazing ad spot by Honda. You know a company has done something right when you feel good watching an advertisement. I’ve embedded the video here, but honestly, for the full effect, go watch it at Vimeo. There’s some very cool stuff that the whole page does to heighten the effect of the video.

Nifty little tool for Mac laptop users

Lifehacker is such a great website. For example, we’ve got this great app

Pause iTunes Whenever You Unplug Your Headphones with Breakaway:
breakaway.pngFreeware application Breakaway automatically pauses and resumes your iTunes music when you unplug or plug in your headphones, perfect for using your laptop in public places. Not only will the auto-pause prevent you from blaring music to everyone around you if you accidentally unplug your headphones, but you also won’t miss a beat if you step away with your headphones and then come back and plug in. Breakaway is freeware, Mac OS X only.

New Chet!

Hey folks, just letting all of you know that Chet just finished cutting 3 new songs in the studio; they’re available to listen both at Chet’s website, www.chetband.com as well as on our Myspace page. Enjoy, and keep an eye out for a full album soon!

Zelda Reorchestrated

Just very cool, it seems that somebody decided to rearrange the music from the Legend of Zelda series using the Garritan Orchestra sounds & release it for free!

Cool new band

Just want to let everyone know they need to check out The Ascetic Junkies as soon as possible; they’re a really fun bluegrass/folk group that just got started here in Boston, having played their first gig Wednesday night opening for Chet.

Spanning Sync

Just wanted to put a little note in here about this excellent (but very beta) piece of software I’ve discovered for syncing iCal & Google Calendar bidirectionally called Spanning Sync. Finally, iCal & gCal can play nice!

[Full disclosure: This post has been edited so that clicking on that link will provide you with a $5 savings and me with a $5 credit from Spanning Sync]
