So this would be my first post after coming home from vacation. I’ll put some pictures up soon, but it was magnificent, even if it rained off & on many of the days. Did some diving, which was just amazing.
As for this site, I’m going to be trying to post more often, as well as find […]
So I will be going away on vacation from this Friday, Dec. 21, until Sunday, Dec 30th. I’ll be out of the country in fact, on holiday with my family in the Society Islands. I hope everyone has a happy holiday, whatever you may or may not celebrate, and I’ll see you in the new year!
Seriously hilariously awesome idea:

Forgive some self-promotion, but I just finished the basics to Justin’s website, justin-allen.com; it’s a project I’ve been working on it the past few months in-between classes & gigs, and it’s complete enough to unveil to the public (which is good, as Justin leaves for a book tour tomorrow!) Please check it out, feel […]

I don’t usually do this, but I just couldn’t resist being a fanboy.

AT&T posted their 2nd Quarter earnings today and revealed some numbers on early iPhone sales. Sales of the Apple iPhone have been robust. The June 29 launch allowed for less than two days of sales and activations before the end […]
So I haven’t posted in over a month, which is a bit lame. Anyway, life has been a bit hectic. Doing classes full-time (16 credits folks), gigging weekly, occasional trips out-of-town for gigs or recreation, and on top of all that Amber moved in for the summer. So yeah, it’s been overwhelming, […]
Hey folks, just letting all of you know that Chet just finished cutting 3 new songs in the studio; they’re available to listen both at Chet’s website, www.chetband.com as well as on our Myspace page. Enjoy, and keep an eye out for a full album soon!
My friend Adriane Yeager, a vocalist, is working on a 3 song demo of her jazz singing, & asked me to play some upright bass on the recordings, which is very cool, as I haven’t played any jazz in a while. Definitely be cool to get back in the studio with the big bass. […]
I'm Jeff Byrnes, a bassist, web coder, avid reader, and Mac user. I'm currently employed by Apple as an iPod Genius at one of its retail stores, but I also code websites freelance part-time, and gig constantly for a rotating cast of bands.
This blog is primarily just a collection of my thoughts, although you can find links to my XHTML / CSS coding CV as well as my musical CV.
