So I’m gonna rant for a minute on this. It really grinds my gears when people say:
“Two thousand ten”
I’m sorry, did we say “nineteen hundred ninety-nine”? Or “one thousand nine hundred ninety-nine”? No. So why the hell is anybody saying “two thousand ten”?! Like all other years before it that are a pair of double-digit numbers, it’s “twenty ten”. Kinda like “nineteen ninety-nine”. Ok? Good. Glad we’re all on the same page.
