Jeff Byrnes’ blog about music, gigging in Boston, & random cool geeky things.
In case you’re not a musician or musically inclined, that title means that someone has figured out how to change the pitch of individual notes in a chord in some audio, which until now was impossible. Pitch-shifting single note lines has never been a problem, and technology was developed to keep the time accurate, but until this, taking apart a chord in a piece of audio was not possible. I'm Jeff Byrnes, a bassist, web coder, avid reader, and Mac user. I'm currently employed by Apple as an iPod Genius at one of its retail stores, but I also code websites freelance part-time, and gig constantly for a rotating cast of bands.
This blog is primarily just a collection of my thoughts, although you can find links to my XHTML / CSS coding CV as well as my musical CV.
